Dr. Melike Külahçı was born in the city of Konya.

After graduating from Istanbul High School for Boys,

she continued her education at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul University, one of the leading universities in Turkey.

After obtaining her bachelor’s degree, she completed her compulsory service at Atatürk Airport, Istanbul.

She specialised in anaesthesiology and reanimation at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul University.

She then moved to Germany after receiving a scholarship in 1990,

where she began working as a surgical assistant at the prestigious University of Erlangen, gaining direct experience of hair transplant surgery.
